Who should apply?
The Taos Opera Institute is designed as an intensive vocal experience to help bridge the gap between academia and apprenticeships. It is for the serious singer (21 and above) who is preparing for a career as an emerging artist in the professional world of opera.

Application Procedures:

     Complete application form. Attach head shot and resume.
        

     Include $25 processing fee and mail to:

    Applicant will be notified of audition schedule and specific location.

    Applicants who are unable to audition in person:

         1. Complete application form. Attach head shot and resume
         2. Send a DVD Video recording to include the following:
            three contrasting arias in Italian, German, and French
         3. Include $25 processing fee, and mail to:

A maximum of 28 singers will be accepted for TOI.
